Notice - the Highland Lakes Master Gardeners Association is following local, state and federal government guidelines closely regarding Covid-19 as the best way to protect ourselves and our Highland Lakes community, allowing everyone to focus on safely moving forward, hopefully into social recovery.
Updates as of February 25, 2021:
1. The 2021 Hill Country Lawn and Garden Show has been canceled due to the continuing spread of Covid 19, increased regulations, and concern for our volunteers, vendors, and visitors.
2. Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. monthly membership meeting. Due to county restrictions currently in place, this meeting will be a Zoom only event. An email invitation for this Zoom meeting will be sent to all members.
Program: Creating a Hummingbird Hotspot
Presented by Comal County Master Gardener, Kathleen Scott.
Learn about the hummingbirds that frequent the Texas Hill Country, why they’re here, what they need, and how to provide food, shelter, and habitat.
3. Please refer to information from Robert Yantis for status of Gardening and Nature Programs in the Highland Lakes Area.
