The Lakeshore Library Landscape Project
The Lakeshore Library Landscape Project involves the gardens around the Lakeshore Library itself and those around the adjacent parking lot across the street. The goal of this Project is to enhance the appearance of this public library and make it look attractive for the many hundreds of Library patrons who utilize this small, rural library at 7346 Hwy 261, Buchanan Dam, TX.
This Project provides volunteer opportunities for Master Gardeners and also for the patrons of the library on a periodic basis, depending on the season and the maintenance needs of the gardens. Funding for the plants and supplies comes from the Friends of the Lakeshore Library.
